Free Dancer & Gymnast Care

We have a goal to make physical therapy and injury prevention accessible.

This free workshop is offered throughout the year. Each workshop will focus on a specific area of concern, such as knee pain or back pain, with guidance from our physical therapists.

What this workshop includes:

  • 30 minutes of education: We believe it’s important for dancers and gymnasts to understand their body and the root cause of their aches and pains. By covering anatomy, reasons for common injuries, ways to improve movement habits, and areas to strengthen, we know our dancers will be able to help take care of their body.

  • 30 minutes of evaluation: Gymnasts and dancers will all participate in a group evaluation. Our PTs will assess individual concerns, provide movement solutions, and offer next steps.

Whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to prevent one, this workshop is an opportunity to enhance your performance and longevity in dance and gymnastics.

  • Space in this free clinic is limited. If you are not able to come, please cancel your booking or email info@onthemovephysio.com to cancel, so that another gymnast/dancer can have the opportunity to participate. Thank you!

  • Feel free to bring any braces or shoes that you think may be contributing to your pain.

  • Please wear clothing in which you can easily move. Usually, pants with loose legs and elastic waist band, and sleeveless shirt are the most comfortable attire for evaluation and treatment.
