Stacey Ohara, PT, DPT
Stacey Ohara is a Physical Therapist at On the Move Physical Therapy and at California Children’s Services in Santa Clara County. She has clinical experience in orthopedics, sports, and pediatric physical therapy. Dr. Ohara specializes in pediatrics working with a variety of children and young adults from competitive athletes requiring post injury rehabilitation to those who have underlying neurological diagnoses. She is dedicated to helping all clients reach their maximum potential while making physical therapy fun. Dr. Ohara attended Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Technology before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine. She is a former level 10 Junior Olympic and NCAA gymnast who continued her gymnastics career as a competitive gymnastics coach with over 10 years of experience. As both an athlete and coach, Dr. Ohara’s strong understanding of demands and expectations of competitive athletes. Her approach to treating athletes includes helping them recover and attain their peak performance while still allowing them to keep doing what they love. Dr. Ohara is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and USA Gymnastics.
