Plantar Fascia

Bottom of foot pain *could* be plantar fasciitis.

If you have plantar fasciitis, it could be because of many things including

  • tight calves

  • decreased foot strength

  • flat feet

  • decreased hip strength

  • overdoing movements that require being on the balls of your feet (like sprinting).

Here’s what you can do:

  • self massage the bottom of your foot with your toes pulled back

  • foot arch strengthening

  • calf stretching

  • Rolling out the bottom of your foot with an icy water bottle

  • glute strengthening
