Rotator Cuff

The rotator cuff is a team of 4 muscles that keep the upper arm bone (humerus) in its socket (the glenoid cavity of the scapula). In other words, it’s pretty important for preventing your shoulder from dislocating. It doesn’t act alone but strengthening it is the main mechanism of stability that you have control over. All you hyperflexible folks out there - you should work on that rotator cuff strength. It will make your swinging, lifting technique, hitting and throwing skills, and floor acro easier and safer.
