Breathing

Here is the path that air takes as enters your lungs. Air from the environment carries the oxygen that your body needs to do things (like contract your muscles for exercise). As air leaves your lungs, it carries carbon dioxide out. Carbon dioxide is a natural waste product of your body’s functions (such as muscle contractions).
