Sciatic Nerve

Probably the most commonly known nerve in the body is the sciatic nerve. When you’re stretching the back of your leg, you aren’t only stretching muscle, you’re also putting this nerve on stretch. You may feel this as tingling, pulling, or numbness in your calf, shin, top of foot, or between toes.
