Perhaps, like me, you’ve been running more lately. If your body has some aches and pains when you’re running, take it as a message from your body on where you need some help with technique. The pain of shin splints is caused by irritation and swelling of the muscles, tendons, and bones in the lower leg and this pain may be reduced with some running technique modifications.
