Achilles Tendon

The achilles tendon is a big tendon you can see right above your heel bone. It’s a continuation of your calf muscles and it pulls up on your heel which allows your calf muscles to propel your body up (like when doing a heel raise or a jump) or forward (like when running or leaping).
